Bruce Lee Workouts are the holy grail for young martial arts enthusiasts and body builders inspired by the Dragon.  His routines are probably among the most sought after fitness plans on the planet.  Both male and female fans  marvel at the Bruce Lee body. Described by some as being like warm marble, Lee's muscular definition and chiselling low body fat resulted in great praise and even envy in the top ranks of the fitness and body-building community. I include myself in that those that stand slack jawed at this achievements.

The truth is that the Bruce Lee body, in my opinion, is nothing less than the peak of human physicality  It can not be matched for it's functional fitness, it's lean efficiency, it's speed and strength. As a martial artist, fitness professional and personal trainer the Bruce Lee physique unifies the greatest elements of both body aesthetics and practical perfection in strength and function. As a result I've spent years exploring the secret shrouded methods of Bruce Lee Workouts.

Mysterious, huh? The truth is there is no one definitive Lee Workout guide. In my previous articles and features (Check 'em Out Here), I've gone into great detail about Bruce Lee's pioneering stance within the fitness and health community.

Unlike many, Lee constantly questioned the methods and observations of the fitness fanatic, the large lifters, the light lifters and all those who had opinions on building muscle and strength. Lee was philosopher at heart, a man who subjected every theory to rigorous examination. Each training plan or protocol he encountered was stringently evaluated. And it was always results focused. Dumping those routines or techniques that didn't produce the goods and rapidly moved on to the next. Those that enhanced his strength, speed, muscle mass or any of the other key attributes of fitness were carefully documented, integrated and kept.

His martial arts philosophy mirrored his fitness one:

As a result Bruce Lee Workouts, were like his martial arts fluid, changing and moving between different methods and philosophies. At times Lee  utilised light weight and high reps methods. In other phases he focused more on heavy weights with lower reps. He would alternate  training with power lifting motion, then train in a body building style. Some days he just did pure body weight work and on others maintained a strict cardio focus. With all that change and diversity however - ONE thing remained constant regardless of what he was trying out....

Isometric Training

Bruce Lee was a COLOSSAL isometric training devotee. Why? Because isometric training - a key component of Bruce Lee Workouts - produced big results. Consistently. These results were so impressive that isometrics became the foundation of the his routine. When I discovered this Isometrics also became the bedrock of my own fitness training - and ultimately led to the development of this website.

Over the years I have aspired to have the fitness and body of Bruce Lee and based on my findings have developed the most comprehensive strength building and fitness building program available. And in Bruce's honour, the man who inspired me, I named it Project Dragon - if you want to see the incredible results this program has achieved check out www.body of the dragon.com
